Clasbey parking access
A connection that could make it easier to reach the courts from the Clasbey parking lot.
Savannah, Missouri
Savannah is exploring improvements to the outdoor courts near the high school. Follow the concept, review ideas still being considered, and share what you would like the project team to hear.
Next public input session: Thursday, October 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Clasbey Center Council Chambers.
Send written comments through October 22The current working concept
The current planning mix is six tennis courts, four dedicated pickleball courts, and one basketball court. Professional design, surveys, community input, and funding will shape the final plan.
This concept keeps tennis as a central use while adding dedicated space for pickleball and basketball.
Early concept: Court sizes, the basketball layout, and the number of pickleball courts remain under review. The drawing is not a final engineering plan.

A future program vision
If the facilities, staffing, and partnerships come together, Savannah could offer activities for young players, adults, and families.
Lessons and regular play for young players.
Organized league play for different skill levels.
Local team and individual match play.
A coached fitness session built around tennis drills.
A small team league for neighborhood players.
These are possibilities for future planning. No program schedule, staff assignment, or operating partner has been approved.
A possible community campaign
The project is preparing a Land and Water Conservation Fund application with a November 13, 2026 target date. The grant has not been awarded, and the full project budget is still being developed.
Illustrative structure only. No gift amounts or pledge terms have been set.
An itemized preliminary estimate is expected October 15. After the project scope and public funding commitments are reviewed, this page can show the amount to raise and the share each giving level could cover.
